Webpage Design Considerations
In order to realize your full business potential, many things must be considered, before writing the first line of HTML, on your new Webpage. Give a great deal of thought to the web page design. A properly designed Homepage can make a significant difference in your business profits. Below are listed some design considerations, we believe to be very important.

1) Animation

A LITTLE ANIMATION GOES A LONG WAY:
Remember how these little email animations looked "great" the first time we saw them.   The second and third times you saw them, they were still ok.   Then they got dull, boring, and obnoxious.   Now we don't even give them a second look.   You certainly don't want this to happen to your business webpage. Remember, you are up against the very best web pages on earth.   Some of these pages are very.. very.. Slick.   Competition is fierce. Your webpage is similar to an ad, in a major publication, and must be treated with just as much care and consideration..

2) Budget

Startup costs for your business website, and a dynamic website design plan, are very important considerations, while you are getting your site up and running.   You are developing a very powerful promotional tool for your company, but you must set limits on the initial investment costs.   Consider the annual cost of a typical yellow page Ad.   Then, consider this Yellow Page Ad is only being seen locally.   For the same money you would spend on a yellow page ad you can be on the world wide web.   With the web, you have the ability to make changes in product or service information, as soon as changes occur.   This is impossible with an annually printed ad.   Your website should be budgeted to the same cost amounts, or only slightly more than you would spend on an annual yellow page Ad.   That is, you should not pay more than a few thousand dollars for your website setup.   Since you are probably expecting to spend this money on advertising already, this type of approach will enable you to realize benefits and a cash return on the initial investment, almost immediately.

3) Content

You have an opportunity to enhance your businesses public image with your web presence.   Your webpage content must be concise and dynamic. Failing this, your public image may suffer and sales will surely lag.   Client confidence brings repeat business, and is perhaps one of the most important aspects of a sound business foundation.   Harness the marketing and information potential of the internet, by perfecting your site.   Research shows that sites that are too flashy, usually don't sell goods and or services.

4) Colors

What looks good on Netscape may not look as good on Internet Explorer. The colors on any two video monitors will probably be different.   The background colors, and gif files you use, must match the text.   Many text colors and background colors don't work well together. Some combinations of colors won't even let the text show at all.

5) Graphics

Another design consideration is graphics.   If these files are too large, they will load slowly, and the person viewing your page will get tired of waiting and move on.   How many times have you seen the status bar show that you are loading.... and loading.... and loading.... something.... but nothing is showing up on the screen?   This is very bad form, and will make the person viewing your page move on to something else and not come back.
